The Producers and Writers.

The concept for the show "Podkast" was created by Ish and Mazi O.. The two cousins came up with the initial idea about the show because, a small group of actors used to meet up at an Atlanta computer store called Tech Genius. The owner had a studio and podcast room that he allowed us to use for creating skits. One day Ish said why don't we create a show that uses the studio and podcast room. Mazi came up with a quick short outline, about a music podcast co-hosted by an ex-felon.

Immediately Mazi's long-time friend Rahim, and Ish's friend Mikey landed the lead roles, along with Quay as Coco and Lyon as DJ Lyon. Soon after, the role of Sean was cast and the story came alive.

Mazi pulled in Eve, Vickie, and Nakeyah as writers and the team began crafting the characters and season one in less than a week.
